Our Leadership
Sandra Smith is the founder of Insight Talent Search, she has more than 25 years of experience in, Talent Assessment, Executive Management Consulting, Retained Search, Professional Search, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). Sandra holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a double minor in Human Resources Management and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. She is a McQuaig Institute Certified Assessment Consultant.
Prior to her establishing Insight back in 2007, she worked for agencies, an IT Consulting firm and also as a Corporate Recruiter for Rockwell Automation.
She founded Insight as a way to offer client flexibility in programs which she felt was lacking in agencies. The programs offered are made to work best for the client’s needs and budget.
In addition to recruiting, Sandra is a certified McQuaig Institute evaluator, and has extensive experience in helping clients identify what the core characteristics of a successful candidate are for their specific role. In addition, she also has a strong marketing background by which she can provider extensive reports and market mapping of potential candidates in a given skills or geography.
Sandra decided to focus the work of her firm in conjunction with the Critical Infrastructure model as determined by the US Government. The areas of focus are a combination of her personal interests, her past experience with gardening and agriculture, and through her connection with her husband’s experience in Electric Power Generation. Her early career was focused on Information Technology, so collectively the area of focus for Insight Talent is based on these factors. Experience, Interest and Need.
Sandra is married to Mike Smith. She has 4 grown children, and 2 grandchildren. She is an avid gardener and practices home food preservation. She believes that our future is based on providing security in the areas of technology, electric power generation and food/agriculture. It’s her mission to provide organizations who provide these services, the best possible talent available.
